CSBT had a great turnout for the event held in Pueblo, CO at Big Daddy’s Sunset Lanes on 1/9/2016. My performance wasn’t great on a slightly modified version of the Kegel pattern Dead Man’s Curve. I started out with some stronger equipment, a Lock, which worked well initially and then I needed to move to a much weaker, smoother Lock, then on to a Roto Grip Hyper Cell Skid once the front of the lane broke down. I was a little grabby and pulled way too many shots on this pattern, which left me in a hole until I focused on getting more extension through the release and I shot 244 the last game to finish a non-cashing day on a positive note. I learned that physically I really need to stay more patient through the downswing and release and maintain my focus on rolling the ball.
